In May, 2019 I moved to Sacramento, CA to be closure to entertainment and shopping. Rio Vista was too far away from everything and I can not windsurf anymore.

January 2, 2015, I had a house built in Rio Vista, CA to better serve my clients in California and Hawaii.

On January 24, 2014 my application for license as a Professional Engineer was approved in the state of Florida.  I am now licensed in seven states.

On June 17, 2013, I moved my office to 853 Enisgrove Way, The Villages, Florida 32163-2447. I will continue to service my clients in California and the other states that I am licensed in.  My move to Honolulu did not work out.  The single family homes in Hawaii that I could afford were poorly constructed and the utility rates very high.

On January 19, 2013, Paul R. Stephens, PE was sworn in as President of NAFE. He is a resident of New jersey and lives along the beautiful New Jersey Coast.

On January 7, 2012, Richard Ziernicki, PE, PhD, Director and Owner of Knotts Laboratory in Denver, CO was sworn in as President of NAFE.   Dr. Ziernicki's staff of IT techicians brought the NAFE Web Site into the 21st Century.

I was elected to the Board of Directors of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers Product Safety Engineering Society, IEEE-PSES.  I attended the IEEE-PSES Symposium in Boston and found the 2 1/2 days of electrical presentations to be very informative.  The Symposium was held in San Diego on October 10-12, 2011, www.psessymposium.org and again the paper presentations and meetings were great. The next meeting of the PSES is on May 5-7, 2014 in Santa Clara, CA..

I have been using a Sony Digital camera for on site investigations and inspections of evidence.  It is smaller and weighs much less than my Nikon cameras.  The close-up and 20X zoom of the camera with vibration reduction & aided focus eliminate the need to change lenses.  The 3 inch color monitor which can be separated from the camera does not interfere with a hard hat or breathing protection equipment.  I can leave my reading glasses on while photographing! It also has a view finder that can be adjusted for your vision without glasses.  Since, the camera can take HiDef video it has an HDMI connector output.

I brought a new Sony camera, DSC-TX55.  It fits in the palm of your hand and has a memory stick so small that it sometimes does not insert properly.  It takes better close-up photographs than my Sony DSC-HX1.  It takes photos of 16.2 mega pixels and HD video.

I have written another article for an encyclopedia titled "Investigation and Analysis of Electrical Accidents" that will be published by Elsevier.

Wiley has published a new Encyclopedia of Forensic Science, and the Publisher (John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.) has published it online at  http://mrw.interscience.wiley.com/emrw/9780470061589/home/

I am the author of the Article on Forensic Electrical Engineering.  My manuscript was accepted after several reviews and the Encyclopedia has been published in 5 Volumes and is now online.  Wiley has graciously permitted me to post a pdf. file of it.
